Biographical Data:

I am a fourth year biochemistry major at Revelle College. My research project revolves around characterizing stellate cells, elucidating their relationship with hepatocytes, and understanding their contributions to cirrhosis. I currently am conducting growth experiments with stellate cells to determine the optimal in vitro environment for future hepatocyte co-culture experiments.

Though nothing is definite, my career goals include applying to medical school. In my spare time, I like to play sports (especially snowboard during the winter season) amongst other things. This has been my first research experience and I'd like to thank Dr. Bhatia for being incredibly supportive and giving me a great opportunity.
