Biographical Data:

First year graduate student with research interests in the application of porous silicon to microscale tissue engineering. Current studies include the optimization of hepatocyte culture on surface modified silicon. Graduated with S.B in chemical engineering from MIT in 1999. Previous research interests include the mechanical regulation of the growth of alginate recovered chondrocytes, and the mechanical regulation of transcription in chondrocytes. Outside interests include hiking, skiing, and cooking. I originally hail from Holmdel, New Jersey. I'm enjoying the change of pace and weather here in sunny San Diego.
